The following videos are reproduced with many thanks to the originators, Dave Shipman and Tony Labbadia (skydivertony on YouTube).
Kicking off with one of Dave's video, actually 3 videos stitched into one 20 minute film of the ride across the mountain road (Oatman Highway) which goes from Cool Springs to Oatman.
Cool Springs was a vital service station many, many, years ago. It is still a good stop but make sure you go to the restrooms before you get there, unless you can hold it until you get to Oatman.
Oatman was a gold mining, small town, but is re-emerging as gold mining has been resurrected by a commercial company. It is also famous for it's wild donkeys, but they are not very wild in temperament. As usual, with donkeys or burros, they are very gentle and the local people take care of them.
This highway has 191 bends and two of them hairpin. I'll take their word for it except I think there's more than two hairpin bends!

Just thought I'd mention that in the video below the 'Ugly Mug' referred to is Tony, not me (Dave Rose). I'm far too handsome for anyone to think that it might be me anyway :-)
The Oatman Highway, from Cool Springs to Oatman, as in the first video but without the burro dashing out!
